Chip 'n Jerk Portobello (collection & delivery only)

Small beef patties with flaky crust but an odd aftertaste, crispy salt and pepper wings with real flavour through the meat, and a genuinely hot honey dip with proper Scotch bonnet kick. Curry goat stands out, tender with bite and well-coloured, rice and peas soaked in flavourful gravy. Jerk chicken disappoints though, dry and not quite fresh, despite smoking efforts without a jerk drum. Mixed results, but enough highlights to be worth trying.
